Gary's son-in-law has retired from the Army after finishing his last Iraq deployment.  Mike decided that he'd spent enough time in the Army and that it was time to move on to other things.  I'm sure that he had mixed emotions about leaving his unit and the Army and I hope that you wish him well on whatever he does in the future.

The 4th ID is one of the units who is still heavily involved in Iraq. Even though we will no longer have the close personal ties with the 4th Infantry Division we still wish the soldiers and their familes well and ask that you continue to support them in whatever they are called upon to do.  One way that you can do that is to visit the 4th ID Association gift shop by clicking on the link below.
